Parent Testimonials

"The minute that we slowed down and got to (the child's) level and did the things, the actions that (the provider) told us to do, our cooperation with our child at that point literally skyrocketed to like, we’d say probably 80% of the time they listened the first time we said it. And we were just mind-blown... It really helped us remove a lot of stress from our lives by going through (the program)"

"I just felt very empowered that such a small change could make such a big difference in my relationship with my son and how I feel as a parent... I can see, still, months and months after I’ve completed this program, that I get a much better response and reaction"

"I thought the program went well, because it helped us kind of redirect how we were speaking to our 4-year old"

"I found that being in what feels like a more vulnerable position here, my dignity as a human being is respected. Throughout this program I felt this way, I have felt zero condemnation for our financial situation or life circumstances beyond our control, etc. etc., I just think this has been so encouraging, very helpful"

"The parenting classes helped me better understand what my child thought in situations. It made me get less angry and helpless when he didn't listen and put things in a new perspective"

“We’ve had almost all good bedtimes for the past two weeks!”

"I just want to say, basically, thank you for breaking down the barriers so that folks, moms, single moms, all the moms can be involved. Also, like with the referrals and stuff, making sure that you’re asking the questions about transportation and all of that, schedules. This was really accessible, and I haven’t found a lot of things accessible, being that single parent, right?"

Clinician Testimonials

"I had a visit with a family where the room was really disregulated, and the parent was clearly at the end of their rope. We were able to get them connected with this resource. At our next visit, the parent was really proud they had started a sticker chart for potty training and that their child was responding well. You could see them employing the techniques they had learned in the room, it was a night and day encounter! I was really encouraged by that"

"I was proud and confident to offer this tangible resource to my patients - what a great way to partner to supporting parents and families"

"Great initiative!!! Majority of the parents are excited and want to participate"
