Empowered Generations

Empowered Generations (eGen) is a positive behavior support program for parents of children aged 3-8 with moderate behavior challenges*. This program has worked for families struggling with tantrums, defiance, mild aggression, challenges getting out the door or during bedtime, and many other concerns.

It is:

Strengths-based, culturally responsive, and informed by an evidence-based program with powerful outcomes, GenerationPMTO (Parent Management Training - Oregon Model)
Brief (6 sessions) and available online
Provided by highly talented, community-engaged therapists with extensive training

Referrals are made from primary care to reach underserved families.

*If a child has extreme behaviors, this resource alone would not be appropriate; they should have more intensive services. It can sometimes still be useful in those cases, along with other supports.
